protocols also support the inclusion of a comment or
brief description of the share. Additionally, you must
enable at least one of the available protocols.
While a single user interface is provided to create a
share for all protocols, in actuality, a separate share is
created for each protocol. You can remove a share for
one protocol without removing the share for the
others, however, this is potentially confusing and has
to be done carefully.
To add a Windows or UNIX share
1. On the primary menu bar, click Folders and
Shares.
2. Select the Windows and UNIX Shares option.
The Shared Folders on Server Appliance dialog
(Figure 49) opens.

3. On the Shared Folders on Server Appliance
page, in the Ta s ks list, click New....
The Create New Share dialog (Figure 50)
opens.
